The Cor Semper Fidele after washes, drybrushes, and weathering powder.

Front of the "Always-Faithful Heart"
New techniques:
- Sponged on Charadon Granite, which works great for paint chips and general damage.
- Forgeworld Black Soot weathering powder around the exhausts. Better results than a black wash.
- Forgeworld Light Earth powder on the tracks, mixed with turpentine substitute ("white spirit"). Good for general mud.
- Graphite from the side of a pencil on anything I wanted to look shiny or with the paint worn away, like the front of the dozer blade and door railings. Looks better than a drybrush of boltgun metal.
- Checkers on bolter turret and Marine done with a 005 Micro pen and a Speedball fine ink pen and India Ink. Easier to control than a brush.
- Tried the "glowing eye" method on the red ranging lens. Seemed to work OK.

Still a little detail work to go.
Both the India Ink and Micron pen ink held up under a coat of GW Purity Seal. Also note that the powders need multiple, light coats of seal in order to stay on.
This tank looks nasty and dirty at tabletop distance. Objective achieved. :)
