The Wolfling Project

I was looking for a second army which would allow me to do a lot of modifications and other odd stuff. I decided on a Traitor brigade of the Imperial Guard.

Traitor IG sergeant, Company commander, and three guardsmen.

Inspiration on the conversions from John's Ardwick 23rd. The heads are either MaxMini's Fallen Legionnaires or Tox Guardsmen, or West Wind's German or Russian gas mask heads. MaxMini's Guardsman Backpacks are also worn by most of the minis.

The color scheme I'm trying is something similar to multicam. I use the Army Painter Army Green as a base on the troops and vehicles, and then add swatches of Desert Yellow and Camo Green. Smaller dots of Fortress Gray (for an urban feel) and Scorched Brown round it out. I wash everything with Devlan Mud and add highlights with Desert Yellow as desired. Weapons are Bleached Bone over Fortress Gray.

My Guard army includes a few inducted Eldar Guardians as well as some metal Black Scorpion Iraqi figures I greenstuffed into a more futuristic look.
